(July 30, 2015) - Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) will host its 4th Annual LMHA•Works! Contractors and Suppliers Informational Session on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 (9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.) at The University of Toledo Scott Park Campus Auditorium located at 2225 Nebraska Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43607.
Direct from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Agency (USDA), federal partners will lead this half-day forum with topics on “Selling to Federal Agencies” and “Rural Business and Housing Financing”.
How-to information delivered by NEO Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), SBA, Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission and LMHA•Works! will give participants additional insight on selling, financing, capitalizing and procurement opportunities.
Invited guests include Paula Hicks-Hudson, Mayor City of Toledo; Pamela E. Ashby, Cleveland Field Office Director, HUD; Antonio Riley, Region 5 Regional Administrator, HUD; and, Gilbert Goldberg, District Director, Small Business Administration, SBA.

This forum seeks to empower participants with information to create and expand their small businesses, create jobs and help to strengthen their communities. It’s about providing communities the opportunity to work together, grow together and to prosper together,” said Antonio R. Riley, HUD Midwest Regional Administrator.
