The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Oregon Branch will close its temporary location at the Wynn Center (5224 Bay Shore Rd.) beginning Monday, August 10. The branch is in the final stage of a $3.5 million renovation project that will expand the branch from 15,000 to 18,700 square feet and include new meeting rooms, children's and teen areas, and added computer stations. The branch will reopen by October 15 at its permanent location at 3340 Dustin Rd. Customers who have previously reserved materials at the Oregon Branch can pick them up at the nearby Locke Branch (703 Miami St., Toledo). Summer Reading Challenge participants from Oregon Branch (Wynn Center) may redeem prizes by calling 419-259-5293. Customers can also return materials to any library location and can renew materials online or by calling circulation at 419-259-5201. Services to the Oregon community began in February of 1965 in the Oregon Plaza Shopping Center at Coy and Navarre. This location was enlarged in 1980 as usage of the facility increased. In April of 1989, the library service moved to its current location. Library customers can find their nearest Library location at http://web2.toledolibrary.org/locations.
