Show Your Love for Toledo with Vintage Designs from Thinking Cap 419

TOLEDO August 17 2015 – Toledo Native Chad Scouten introduces Thinking Cap 419, a unique clothing line that celebrates Toledo’s hardscrabble past and undeniable spirit. Scouten, a musician and graphic artist, is the designer and proprietor. He offers vintage threads for men and women as well as hoodies and posters.

Scouten, who was raised in Toledo and was once a part of its thriving local music scene, spent several years in Moab, Utah, before deciding to return to his roots. Much like the city itself, Scouten is a survivor, and his designs are an ode to Toledo’s ability to reinvent itself over and over again.

“Toledo gets a bad rap,” Scouten says. “When I look at Toledo, I see a rich history and a burgeoning arts and music scene. My designs allow people to celebrate their pride for Toledo by wearing a piece of Toledo made by a local artist.”

Scouten’s designs celebrate everything from Jeep, to the Black Swamp, Frogtown, motorcycle culture, LBGTQ pride and music and art.

Thinking Cap is based in Toledo (order online http://thinkingcap419.com), but ships domestically and internationally. Follow Thinking Cap on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ThinkingCapStudios.
