Celebrity Chef Fr. Leo Patalinghug to Speak at Catholic Charities’ Fall Celebration
Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo will host a fall celebration featuring celebrity chef and author Fr. Leo Patalinghug. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 6165 Levis Commons Blvd., Perrysburg, Ohio. Fr. Leo, winner of Food Network’s Throwdown with Bobby Flay, will discuss the connections of food, faith and family in a unique and dynamic on-stage cooking demonstration. His ministry, Grace Before Meals, is centered on one fundamental concept: the simple act of creating and sharing a meal can strengthen all types of relationships. Fr. Leo has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. He is the host of “Savoring Our Faith” on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) and author of Spicing Up Your Married Life and Epic Food Fight. Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner. A cash bar is available. Fr. Leo will also hold a book signing session at the end of his presentation.
