Masterworks Chorale Presents What Sweeter Music
Masterworks Chorale, Toledo’s premiere mixed voice ensemble, is pleased to present their annual Christmas Concert, What Sweeter Music.
The concert will be presented at Epworth United Methodist Church, 855 W. Central Avenue, Toledo, on Saturday, December 5th at 8 pm and again on Sunday, December 6th at 4 pm. Featured will include music by Benjamin Britten, John Rutter and Gustav Holst, and the audience will be invited to join in caroling as well. Director Tim Cloeter says: “We will indeed awake the string and awake the voice to express the tenderness and exuberance of Christmas.” The choir will be accompanied by pianist Jill Roth Boessel, harpist Julie Buzzelli and organist Cecil Baughman.
