The Ohio Theatre and Event Center and Welcome Toledo-Lucas County Partner to Present the 2nd Annual Toledo International Film Festival

The Ohio Theatre and Event Center, located at 3114 Lagrange, and Welcome Toledo-Lucas County will be hosting the 2nd Annual Toledo International Film Festival (TIFF). Each Saturday from January 23, 2016 to February 6, 2016, we will show specially selected films to showcase and celebrate cultures from around the world. Light refreshments will be provided by local ethnic and immigrant-owned restaurants and the concession stand will be open with beer and wine available. Please join us for films from around the globe highlighting cultural diversity. Individual tickets are $8 when purchased in advance or $10 at the door. Patrons can purchase a pass for all six movies for $35. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ohiotheatretoledo.org, at the door, or in person by coming to United North at 3106 Lagrange 43608 from 8:30 to 5pm. The screening schedule is as follows: January 23: 4:30 pm – Timbuktu (Mauritania) and 7:00 pm – Dancing in Jaffa (Israel-Palestine) January 30: 4:30 pm – Instructions Not Included (Mexico) and 7:00 pm – Gabrielle (Quebec-Canada) February 6: 4:30 pm – I Wish (Japan) and 7:00 pm – White God (Hungary) The Toledo International Film Festival is presented by The Ohio Theatre and United North and co-sponsored by PNC Bank, Buckeye CableSystem, and Welcome Toledo-Lucas County.
