Sheila Odesky Appointed to Second Term as Library Board President
Sheila Odesky of Sylvania, a retiree and community volunteer, was sworn in this morning as President of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Board of Trustees. It is Mrs. Odesky’s second term as president. Mrs. Odesky has formerly served as secretary and vice president on the Library board. Mrs. Odesky is the former Director of Grants at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center where she served from 1985 to 2000. She is a member of the Toledo Museum of Art Ambassadors and past president of the Toledo Museum Library League. She is a volunteer at Flower Hospital and a volunteer/committee member of several community organizations. Her original appointment to the Library board was made by the Lucas County Commissioners and her term ends January 10, 2020. Mrs. Odesky is married to Stan Odesky, a retired political analyst.
