Founder's Day at Put-in-Bay, Ohio
The annual Founders Day Celebration at Put-in-Bay will be held in the center of the village at DeRivera Park on Sunday from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. This free, family-focused island event, is hosted by the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce, and celebrates the founding of Put-in-Bay by Hispanic merchant Jose DeRivera. Founders Day will feature live entertainment playing popular tunes in a fair-type atmosphere. Childrens games will be available from noon to 2:00 pm. There will also be local crafters and jewelery makers selling their wares. The Island Antique Car Parade starts at 2:30 to entertain young and old with antique cars and candy.
