As part of First Unitarian's ongoing program "Adventures in Spiritual Growth," Alex Shanks of Equality Ohio in Columbus offers to educate our community in the area of transgender topics of interest. As some states enact laws that impact the basic human rights and daily lives of transgender people, First Unitarian continues to promote and affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person. In this program, Alex will help community members understand the challenges faced by our transgender neighbors, friends, and loved ones.
