You're invited to "The Climate Crisis: From Tragedy to Transformation," a presentation at 7 pm Friday, April 29 at First Unitarian Church, 3205 Glendale Ave. It's free and open to the public Refreshments will follow. Presenting is environmental expert George Hoguet, who is a trained member of The Climate Reality Leadership Corps, a global network of activists founded by former vice president Al Gore along with leading scientists He is also a founder of the Earth Holder Sanga, a North American community of Buddhist environmental activists. Also planned for this weekend of focus on climate change is a daylong retreat Saturday to be led by Mr. Hoguet as well as a talks at 11 am Sunday morning, May 1, also at First Unitarian Church.
