Levis Commons To Provide Free and Secure Electronics Recycling
Each year over 2.3 million tons of electronics are disposed of, with only a small percentage being recycled. With the growing use of electronics, our nation’s landfills are being inundated with E-waste. Levis Commons has teamed up with AIM E-Cycling of Toledo, to provide a free and secure electronics recycling drop off. “We want to provide a simple and convenient way for the community to recycle their old electronics” said Allison Schroeder of Levis Commons. “People will be able to just pull up, we will unload their items and they can continue on.” The drop off location will be behind Books-A- Million. Aim E-Cycling is R2 certified. This means they meet very strict compliance guidelines for secure data destruction and zero landfill waste. Aim accepts computers, laptops, printers, hard drives, modems, cables, speakers, keyboards, cameras, cellphones, radios and more. TV’s and CRT monitors will NOT be accepted. The Town Center at Levis Commons is a 319,000 square foot open-air lifestyle center offering a collection of national, regional and local specialty merchants. The center contains over 68,000 square feet of Class-A office space featuring views of The Town Center and unparalleled regional access via I-475, I-75 and the surrounding freeways. The developer, Hill Partners, Inc., based in Charlotte, N.C., is responsible for merchandising, retail leasing and management of the center. CB Richard Ellis|Reichle Klein is handling the office leasing responsibilities. For more information on this release or to schedule an interview, please contact Casey Pogan at 419-931-8888.
