#BeTheForce: Teen Girl Leadership Summit
Total Package Girl, a twean and teen girl confidence and leadership brand based in Toledo, Ohio, is hosting the first of its kind Girl Leadership Summit to be held Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle Theatre. The event is for girls ages 11 to 17, women, and mentors.
The day is about solutions, strength, and most of all, fun! The goal is to discover how amazing each girl is and for each attendee to leave feeling empowerment, inspiration, and the desire to be a force in her world.
Topics explored explored at the Summit are taken from author Kristi K. Hoffman's best-selling Amazon Teen Social issues book,"Total Package Girl: Discover the Ultimate You for Life." Topics and personal anecdotes include mean girls, body image, cyber bullies, personal confidence, strength, relationships, and secret weapons for leadership success.
Stellar line-up on tap for the event include: Maya Ramirez, winner of Project Runway: Junior; Bowling Green State University President, Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey; University of Toledo President Dr. Sharon Gaber; City of Toledo Assistant Fire Chief Karen Marquardt; Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Stacy L.
