CureSearch Ultimate Tri-CURE-athon
The CureSearch Ultimate Tri-CURE-athon is a Hike, Bike, or Walk event to benefit Ultimate Hike, a program of CureSearch for Children's Cancer. The event will take place on September 24th in Whitehouse Village Park. Participants can choose to do a 12 mile Hike, or 21 mile Bike, or 1 mile Fun-walk. Keep in mind shorter distances are available for each event if desired. It's easy to pick your event and pick your distance too. The hike course includes 12 miles of trails in Oak Openings Preserve Metropark. The bike route includes up to 21 miles on the South Fork of the Wabash Cannonball Trail. The walk course is 1-3 miles on a loop trail in Whitehouse Village Park and through Blue Creek Conservation area. You will be participating in support of children battling cancer, survivors of children's cancer, or in memory of lives lost to children's cancer. Then it's time for a nice dinner in Whitehouse Village Park while enjoying a comedy/magic show, and some wacky-fun games such as Human Foosball or Human Hungry, Hungry Hippos. The evening will also feature the Create Away Cancer Art Auction where local young artists will auction their great masterpieces to benefit CureSearch for Children's Cancer.
