Healthy Relationships Conference
Health Relationships Conference Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson and partners invite parents and youth to attend the upcoming Healthy Relationships Conference to learn more about fostering positive self esteem, and addressing sensitive topics such as bullying, peer pressure, and internet safety. The Healthy Relationships Conference will be held October 29, 2016 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Chester Zablocki Center at 3015 Lagrange Street. Parents are encouraged to attend and bring their children ages 10 through 15. Separate sessions are planned for the youth and parents, with a group gathering to follow. RSVPs are not required, but helpful, and can be made by calling the Toledo Youth Commission at 419-245-3334. The Toledo Youth Commission has developed an interactive map to help connect youth and parents with resources throughout the year. A demonstration of this new tool will be provided to showcase where activities are taking place, and how to locate transportation, health, creative and recreational resources.
