St. Lucas Lutheran Church Oktoberfest and
Mission Fair
Celebrating 130 Years in Toledo’s Old South End!

Saturday, October 29, 745 Walbridge Ave. Toledo

St. Lucas welcomes the public to the last BIG party of our 130th Anniversary
year with a family-friendly open house in and around this 1911 historic church:
Noon to 4 pm Outside:
Parking Lot Party with a Bounce House and games for the kids, live blues and jazz from Emmett Williams, Tejano music with DJ Nando, and snacks and soda by our CYF2G youth group.
Noon to 4 pm Inside:
St Lucas Serves Our Neighborhood Mission Fair with displays and information
about eleven ministries that provide free meals, a food pantry, Sunday School for all ages, youth service activities, healing rite, music and a community garden.
Our Thrift Shop and Archives will be open, too!
Free German Lunch serving from 1to 2 pm in the Gym represents our early his-tory with brats, hot dogs, German potato salad, sweet/sour cabbage, sauerkraut!
In the Sanctuary: 4pm Saturday Communion Service-all welcome!
Celebrating Reformation Sunday with an alpenhorn solo and Luther’s Reforma-tion Hymn, multicultural hymns with Miguel Saucedo, vocalist, and an Archive
Afterglow ca. 5 pm with tours and homemade desserts in our Lower Chapel.
