Central Catholic to Host Open House

Central Catholic High School will hold an Open House for prospective students and parents at its campus, 2550 Cherry Street, Toledo, Ohio on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Central Catholic High School, a co-educational college preparatory learning community, prepares students to excel academically, mature spiritually, grow socially and to engage in the Catholic Intellectual tradition.

At Central Catholic High School, academics and spirituality are the top priority. Students embrace a highly challenging, quality education; become adaptive thinkers and problem solvers in search of knowledge and faith to succeed in an ever-changing global society. Central Catholic students are taught by highly degreed educators with real-world experience. The school offers nearly 50-Advanced Placement and Honors classes, along with the College Credit Plus program. Students can take advantage of more than 30 extracurricular activities, like, Youth in Government, Speech and Debate, Film, Drama, Spanish and Students for Life as well as numerous sports programs from football and lacrosse to basketball and volleyball. “We lay the groundwork for success here at Central Catholic. The class of 2016 earned $10.5 million in college scholarships. Our environment is unique and we invite you to learn more at our Open House,” Dempsey added.

Open House Activities include:
•Watch inspiring performances from the Glee Club, Band, String Orchestra, Irish Dance Team, Mixed Chorus.
•Visit the activities fair, featuring all Central Catholic athletic teams and clubs.
•Take a tour of the school, led by current Central Catholic students.
•View classroom demonstrations and talk to the Guidance Department.
•Tour the athletic facilities including the Gallagher Athletic Complex, the Sullivan Center, the Fondessy Dance Studio.
