Internship Academy Targets Employers

Registration deadline for employers: December 6 Collegiate Employ-Net Consortium invites employers to attend the 2016 Internship Academy on Thursday, December 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Metropark at 4830 W. Central Avenue in Toledo. The event is designed to help employers navigate the ins and outs of hiring student interns. The featured speaker is Mr. Thomas A. Dixon, Labor & Employment attorney with Eastman & Smith, LTD. In addition, the program provides information on creating an internship, incentives and benefits of hiring interns, and additional internship information. Cost for the Internship Academy is $25 and includes lunch. Employers who register for both the Internship Academy and the February 10, 2017 Internship Fair at Lourdes University pay just $60, which represents a $15 savings for the 2017 event.
