Program Series Brings You the World this Winter
Travel the world this winter with local wanderers in a 13-week Saturday series at various Metroparks. Sponsored by Maumee Valley Adventurers and Metroparks, the annual Travel Circle series presents area residents sharing photos and stories from their travel adventures. Each week's program begins at 2:15 p.m. at Widwood Preserve or Oak Openings Preserve Metroparks. An optional walk or cross-country ski precedes each presentation at 1 p.m. Admission is free. This year's programs range from a bicycle ride for charity around the perimeter of the United States to a teardrop camper excursion across the Sierra and Rocky Mountains; and globetrotting from Cuba to Antarctica.
