Join local agriculture and gardening experts at an interactive event focused on planning, developing and sustaining gardens for youth education.
Topics include:
• Practical Garden Design, Plant Selection, Soil Health
• Garden Safety and Sustainability
• Connecting Garden Education with State Standards
• Garden Demonstrations and “Make and Take” Activities
The workshop includes: overview of gardening resources, networking opportunities, primer of interactive activities for youth, dinner and door prizes.
