Good Company Vocal Ensemble at St. Lucas Lutheran Church
The Good Company Vocal Ensemble, Karen T. Biscay, director and Norma Kelling, accompanist, will provide special Lenten
Music for the Holden Evensong Service on Wednesday, April 5,
at 7:00 pm in the beautiful St. Lucas Lutheran Church Sanctuary,
at 745 Walbridge Ave., just off Broadway St. in Toledo’s Old
South End. Pastor Martin Billmeier leads this service, Georgia
Steele is Cantor, and Michael Biscay provides acoustic guitar accompaniment.
St. Lucas celebrated its 131st Anniversary on March 21 and offers
regular Wednesday Evening Prayer services during Lent. The Good Company Vocal Ensemble has performed for many years at
these services, formerly as part of the Lourdes University Chorus. They will present music of the Medical Mission Sisters,
well-known in the late 1960’s for their original folk-style songs,
and other Lenten pieces.
