Independent Thriller to Hold Free Premiere in Toledo
Project Dark Films is proud to announce the Ohio premiere of Monsters Among Men, a feature thriller/horror starring Jim O'Rear (The Hospital, Don't Look in the Basement 2), Michelle Shields (Frankenstein: Day of the Beast, Post Mortem America 2021), Luke Bonczyk (Dogman, Playback), Craig Bouwens (Two Guns and a Bodybag, Return of the Dead), and directed by Ryan Blazic (The Suicide King).
In Monsters Among Men, an egocentric businessman awakens deep in the woods to find he has been abducted by a subversive group of vampires disguised and living among us. He must not only escape their clutches, but save his beloved girlfriend before time, the truth, and his kidnappers catch up with him.
The film has already won several awards including a best feature film nomination, an honorable mention award, and a best screenplay runner-up award, and critics are saying, "Loved The Twists and Turns", "A Well Made Fright Flick", and "A Must Have For Your Indie Horror Collection".
The Ohio Premiere will be celebrated at the Collingwood Arts Center, 2413 Collingwood Boulevard, Toledo, OH 43620 on June 9rd, 2017 at 8:00pm. The premiere will also feature live music by Bon Jurke and a Q & A with the cast & crew. The show is FREE of charge.
