Jake Pilewski, front man of Toledo based bands The New Fashioned and Nine Lives, will celebrate the release of his debut solo album on September 8 under the moniker Jake & The Venom. The album's initial release will be available digitally via iTunes. Pilewski is donating 100% of all digital pre-orders on iTunes to SunBridge Schools. Pre-ordering began July 24 and will continue through September 7. After the release date, 50% of digital orders will be donated for the remainder of 2017.

Pilewski not only performs in the aforementioned bands, he is also the host of the Snake Pit Podcast which features interviews with local artists and businesses of many mediums with a focus on the arts.

SunBridge Schools was founded as an after school and summer program designed to give children the opportunity to develop into productive citizens. Much of their expenses come out of pocket.

This album release is looking to not only benefit these children, but also promote the Toledo music scene in the process. The songs are all original tracks written, engineered, and produced by Pilewski and features appearances by a variety of other local talent such as Jeff Stewart, Joe Woods, and more.
