The Story of the European Witch and Medieval Women
The Lourdes University Lifelong Learning program presents The Story of the European Witch and Medieval Women at 10 a.m. with Dr. Christine Neufeld, Professor of Literature at Eastern Michigan University. Learn about the rise of the European “witch craze” through medieval and early modern stories, visual arts and historical trial accounts. The lecture is free for Lifelong Learning members and first-time visitors.
The Lifelong Learning Hot Topic Local Conservation at the Toledo Zoo with Dr. Ryan Walsh is offered from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Wild Toledo is a Toledo Zoo conservation initiative to increase the habitat for native plants and animals not only on Zoo grounds but in the entire Toledo area. Dr. Walsh is the Wild Toledo Biologist at the Toledo Zoo. $10 for Lifelong Learning members; $15 for non-members. Cost includes a lunch of soup, sandwiches and dessert.
