The Sylvania Franciscan Village in collaboration with Masjid Saad Foundation offer “The Sultan and the Saint: An Approach to Christian Muslim Dialogue” from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Franciscan Center beginning on October 9th. This six-week series provides small group transformational dialogue that seeks to bring Muslims and Christians together. By nurturing relationships across religious boundaries, the hope is that together participants will model interfaith cooperation as they live out a central tent of both faiths: to love God and to love our neighbor. The program offers two immersion experiences – one to a mosque and one to a church. Session dates are Mondays, October 9, 16, 23 and November 5 and 13. For more information or to register, please contact Sophia Lloyd, Sylvania Franciscan Village Director, at slloyd@sistersosf.org or 419-824-3533; or Dr. Fadia Abaza at fmabasa@hotmail.com or 419-461-1205.
