Photography & Glass Exhibition with artists William Horvath & Gail Mirrow Tuesday, February 20 – Wednesday, March 21 Hours: M-F 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Canticle Center Gallery, 5335 Silica Drive in Sylvania Sr. Jane Mary Sorosiak Lecture Series with painter/muralist Hubert Massey Sunday, March 18 Hours: 2 to 4 p.m. Franciscan Center, 6832 Convent Blvd. in Sylvania Undergraduate Spring Art Exhibition Saturday, April 21 – Thursday, May 24 Hours: M-F 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Opening Reception: April 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. Canticle Center Gallery, 5335 Convent Blvd. in Sylvania Department of Art The Lourdes Department of Art offers two- and four-year degrees in Art and Art History. Students can also choose to pursue a concentration in Pre-Art Therapy. Other opportunities include participating in the Sr. Jane Mary Sorosiak Lecture Series, working with visiting artists, competing for art department scholarships, regional travel experiences to visit potential graduate programs and cultural venues, exhibiting work in the community through exhibitions and service, and study abroad opportunities such as the Student Art College International (SACI) in Florence, Italy. Lourdes University Rooted in the Catholic and Franciscan tradition, Lourdes University is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis, and offers baccalaureate degrees in a variety of academic majors as well as graduate degrees in business, education, nursing, organizational leadership, social work, and theology. Community outreach programs include the Appold Planetarium, the Center for Science Education & the Environment, and Lifelong Learning.
