Lourdes University Choirs offer Spring Concert
The Lourdes University Choirs are pleased to present a Spring Concert on Thursday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lourdes University Canticle Center, 5335 Silica Drive, in Sylvania. Free and open to the public, the concert features the Lourdes University Chorale and Lourdes A Capella, directed by Bobby Rue, Vocal Music Director, with Adam O’Dell, Pianist and Assistant Director. “This is the public debut performance for both groups. We are excited to offer a diverse program as we work to expand the arts at Lourdes,” says Mr. Rue. The Lourdes University Choirs will perform a variety of musical styles, ranging from modern a capella pop and traditional choral repertoire to gospel music from Toledo Opera’s April performances of Tappin’s I Dream Sundays based on the life of Dr. Martin Luther King.
