Downtown Sylvania Presents the 4th Annual Miracle on Main Street
Presented by Dave White Chevrolet, Toledo Memorial Park and 13ABC - “A Weekend of Holiday Cheer in Downtown Sylvania” December 7 & 8 The Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Sylvania Association, Sylvania Community Arts Commission and the Sylvania Historical Village are partnering together to bring the Sylvania community a weekend full of events to celebrate the holidays. Miracle on Main Street will kick off on Friday, December 7 at 5pm with the First Friday Red Bird Art Walk and continue throughout the weekend concluding on Saturday, December 8 at 5:30pm with the lighted night-time Holiday parade. Explore downtown Sylvania through art exhibits, live music, crafts, food, a 5k run and family fun including a parade, tree lighting, Santa, a heated Farmer’s Mistletoe Market. Shop for the holidays with our local businesses and artists and enjoy brews for a cause on the Elfin’ Brew Hop at 6 locations. FRIDAY DECEMBER 7th | 5pm-8ish First Friday Art Walk at businesses & restaurants Deck the Halls for history Silent Auction at Heritage Center Museum Mistletoe Market (over 30 additional makers) Join us the Sylvania Historical Village for the 9th annual Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery & Mausoleum Tree Lighting Ceremony. The village will be open and lit up with holiday cheer as we take a moment to share in remembering those loved ones who will be missed. 5-6pm Ornament Decorating – The first 300 people will receive a holiday tree ornament to honor a loved one. 5:30pm Lourdes Choir 6pm Sylvan Choir 6:30pm Tree Lighting SATURDAY DECEMBER 8th | 11AM-6ISH Holiday shopping, extended art walk, Mistletoe Market & Deck the Halls for history continue all day on Saturday! Shop before the parade at 5:30PM. SANTA VISITS 3-5PM Heritage Center Museum Front Porch PARADE 5:30PM SANTA VISITS 6:30-8pm Chandler Cafe SUNDAY DECEMBER 2nd 5k Run, Kid’s Dash and beer garden __________________ ELFIN' BREW HOP | FRIDAY & SATURDAY Hop around the district Friday & Saturday during Miracle on Main Street and try local brews-for-a-cause. $1 of each featured beer will be donated back to Downtown Sylvania Association Red Bird Arts District events and programs!
