Toledo Library Helps Local Kids Prepare for Kindergarten
Countdown to Kindergarten at the Toledo Lucas County Public Library is both a kindergarten readiness storytime for kids and a program to inform parents and caregivers of the skills that their children will need when beginning kindergarten. “Kindergarten is a big transition and this program will help parents and children know what to expect as they begin school,” said Nancy Eames, TLCPL Youth Services Coordinator. Activities include: - Songs - Stories - Take home activity tips/ideas - Activity stations - Free take-home skill rings and safety scissors This program has been made possible through generous support from the Library Legacy Foundation.
