are proud to present our summer collaborations
with the area premieres of two powerful, thought provoking plays:
“The Other Place” by Sharr White and “Constellations” by Nick Payne
"The Other Place" has performances on June 14 and 15 at 8:00 p.m. and June 16 at 3:00 p.m. The play is directed by Dave Nelms and features Cindy Bilby, Mark Owen, Andrew Packard and Marissa Rex.
ABOUT THE PLAY: Just as Juliana Smithton's research leads to a potential breakthrough, her life takes a disorienting turn. During a lecture to colleagues at an exclusive beach resort, she glimpses an enigmatic young woman in a yellow bikini amidst the crowd of business suits. One step at a time, a mystery unravels as contradictory evidence, blurred truth and fragmented memories collide in a cottage on the windswept shores of Cape Cod.
"Constellations" has performances on June 21 and 22 at 8:00 p.m. and June 23 at 3:00 p.m. The play is directed by Nancy Wright and features Matt Culbreath and Aimee Reid.
ABOUT THE PLAY: This spellbinding, romantic journey begins with a simple encounter between a man and a woman. But what happens next defies the boundaries of the world we think we know—delving into the infinite possibilities of their relationship and raising questions about the difference between choice and destiny.
