CWS Awarded U.S. Court Of International Trade Security Window
New York, N.Y. – Commercial Window Shield has been selected for a fragment retention film installation project at the prestigious U.S. Court of International Trade building in New York.
Integrated Construction Enterprises of Belleville, N.J., which is handling a façade upgrade of the building, hired Commercial Window Shield for the glass protection phase of the project. The company will first remove old security film and its wet glaze attachment system from the building’s windows before installing new fragment retention window film.
The new security film installation calls for 7 or 8-mil tinted clear film to be installed on 689 windows using a wet glaze attachment system. More than 22,000 sq. ft. of security window film will be installed along with more than 15,000 lineal feet of wet glaze attachment.
The project will begin this fall.
The Court, with nine sitting judges, hears civil cases related to the country’s customs and trade laws.
Commercial Window Shield has considerable experience installing security window films on high-profile New York City buildings. Previously, the company completed security window film projects at Grand Central Terminal, Merrill Lynch’s twin towers and Ernst & Young headquarters.
With more than 30 years experience, Commercial Window Shield is one of the nation’s leading security and solar control window film installers.
