Spoons and Needles is a fictional story based on a real family’s turmoil in facing and dealing with addiction and the complicated emotions when a loved one is addicted.  In 2017, there were 4,293 overdoses reported in Ohio alone. Ohio is second in the nation in overdose deaths. Addiction is not a battle fought by the addict, but by family members and friends.
