(Toledo, OH February 16, 2020); “Join Us!” THE Modern Dance Co. performs their 4th biannual cabaret as resident dance company of Toledo Repertoire Theatre and has invited local community artists to the stage!
“Fosse & Jazz Revue” is a celebration of cabaret entertainment that features Toledo’s first modern dance company along with area artists in both the performing and fine arts,” says Ashley Hill, co-founder and Artistic Director for non-profit THE Modern Dance Co.
Along with jazzed-up versions of iconic Bob Fosse choreography, musical theater song and dance, invited acts and even acrobatics will be on display followed by fine art commissioned by Toledo artist Emily Hayward. Also of note, the seminal performance of THE Modern Dance Co.’s apprentice company, THE2, for young artists ages 13-18 years aligning with the mission of THE Modern Dance Co.’s focus on artistry and positive impact in the community.
