Briarfield Cafe Reopens in Maumee
Briarfield Cafe is very pleased to announce its reopening on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. After a fire in September of 2019 closed the business for five months, we are ready to welcome and serve our customers, both old and new. The restaurant has served the Maumee area for 15 years, and Dave Katafiasz and his staff of 22 of the finest people in the industry are now ready to open the doors of their newly renovated restaurant.
Briarfield Cafe is grateful to all of the contractors and service providers who worked so diligently to get the restaurant in perfect shape. After 45 years in the restaurant business, Dave Katafiasz knew that he wanted to wait to reopen until every detail was in place.
All of the customer favorites are back, including a variety of made-in-house soups, homemade chips and fries, and of course, the famous Briarfield Salad. With more than 80% of menu items made from scratch, customers are sure to find their favorites from the menu selection. Our Friday night all-you-can-eat fish fries and Sunday brunch are also returning, and hours remain the same.
