Against all odds, the Toledo Humane Society is ready to bring a morning of doggone fun to our community this June with our 36th Annual Bark in the Park Walk and Run for the animals – back in person and better than ever!!
Our annual pet-friendly 5K/10K and 1-mile family fun walk for the animals is kicking off - and we cannot wait to see our community and their furry friends in person! Join us on Saturday, June 5th from 9:00am-12:00pm at The Shops at Fallen Timbers with your own fury friends for our walk and run, along with a morning of food and food trucks, games, treats for pups and kids alike (and adults as well on our brand-new 21+ Paw Patio!), and more!
We will be hosting our main Bark in the Park festivities in person, but you can partake in all the running fun with our virtual 5K and 10K on your own time if you are more comfortable participating in this way! If you sign up for our virtual run, you will receive information about how to record your virtual times as the event grows closer. This year marks the 36th year of our annual pet-friendly Bark in the Park walk and run for the animals, and we would not be able to hold such an event without the support of our community. In 2020, we raised $75,000 for the animals in the midst of a pandemic - and we're looking to blow that number out of the water this year!
Every dollar raised by our community goes directly back to the Toledo Humane Society and the thousands of animals we serve every year. Bark in the Park raises life-saving funds that provide critical medical care, food, shelter, and adoption services for thousands of animals right in your own backyard.
