Music at the Market Featuring Abbigale & the Fellas
Music at the Market presented by Mercy Health will feature Abbigale & the Fellas on Thursday, June 10 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on the Commodore Schoolyard lawn, 140 E. Indiana Avenue in downtown Perrysburg. Concert goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and settle back for a night of toe tapping music.
Abbigale Rose's entry into the music business has been as phenomenal as her textural singing voice. The singer, songwriter leaves an unforgettable impression on her audience with her authentic interpretations of a dynamic range of styles. In less than five years she has earned recognitions, awards and merits in both Toledo and Detroit. In Toledo she was voted Best Singer and Best Blues Jazz Artist twice in The Best in Toledo Awards. She was nominated three consecutive years for Outstanding Rock/Pop Artist and Outstanding Live Performance. Her career is blossoming in Detroit as she wracks up similar nominations and performs regularly with Bennie and the Jets and the Michigan Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Moose and Da Sharks. The talented fella's with Abbigale include Al Torp, from the band Moose and Da Sharks. Jeff Williams, who spent many years on the blues circuit touring Europe and Canada. Wes Linenkugel, a Toledo legend as a multi-instrumentalist. Drummer Marc Gray backed the internationally known Rock-a-Billy sensation, Jack Scott and Pete Hill on bass, Abbigale refers to him as the most undersung bassist in the area, he's teamed up with Abbigale for some great shows. The band will perform a mixture of recognizable hits from artists like Elvis, Chuck Berry, Peggy Lee, Linda Ronstadt and many more.
