New “Ghost Kitchen” Opens in Perrysburg

Four Great New Restaurants, Operating Out of One Location, Optimized for Delivery or Takeout.

PERRYSBURG, OH. July 8, 2021 — In Perrysburg, Ohio, a storefront shared by 4 restaurant brands is celebrating a Grand Opening at the Shoppes at South Boundary.

It’s what’s known as a “ghost kitchen” or “shared kitchen” –– the restaurants operating there primarily fill takeout and delivery orders.

The company behind it, Graze! Shared Kitchen, owns two facilities like this one, hosting multiple restaurants under one roof with a shared space for customers and delivery drivers to collect orders.

The company also operates an online platform where customers can order from multiple restaurants at the same time. It’s a lot like a food hall, but without as much space for people to sit and eat.

Customers can order from a wide variety of exceptionally high-quality restaurant menus, all available from one location. There are 4 different restaurants from which customers can choose:

It’s Wings Up! (Jumbo Chicken Wings and Chunks)

Just to make it easy for customers, Graze offers three ways to order:

In-Person – Guests can use the convenient drive-through to place or pick up orders, or they can park and walk into the newly redecorated lobby. (There is limited in-house seating.)

Over the past year or so, the response to the pandemic dramatically increased demand for takeout and delivery across the nation. A recent survey by the National Restaurant Association found that more than half of consumers say takeout and delivery is “essential to the way they live”.

Brant comments, “Customers nationwide have tasted the speed and convenience of a shared kitchen and have decided that it’s simple and convenient to order dinner ‘to go’ or ‘delivered’ and they are going keep doing that, whether it’s a pandemic or not.”

Brant says the company intends to have more shared kitchens open in the coming year. “The dining room is going nowhere,” he said. “But what we’re offering is incremental sales for restaurants who want to increase their takeout and delivery business.”

Graze! in Perrysburg has taken over space in The Shoppes at South Boundary formerly occupied by Wanna Wing and is open from 11 AM – 2AM.
