TYRO Entrepreneurship Program Coming to Toledo
McClure, Ohio, (Aug. 2, 2021): TYRO Support Services in partnership with the One Voice Foundation and The RIDGE Project are proud to announce that the TYRO Entrepreneurship Program (TEP) is coming to Toledo for the first time. If you’re looking to get your business idea off of paper and into practice, this is the program for you.
TEP is an innovative, three month entrepreneurship program that equips men and women with the skills, resources, and support needed to launch their idea. TEP provides the opportunity for leaders to gain valuable insight, mentoring, hands-on product and marketing support and financing to launch their idea.
TEP participants will go through two phases. Phase one, which consists of heavy group business mentoring and character development training. Phase two, which consists of 16 applicants receiving one-on-one mentoring focusing on business plan development, marketing skills, and presentation build-out. Following the completion of phases one and two, a pitch night in which 4 applicants will provide a full presentation before a panel of judges, their peers, and a live-stream audience will occur at the RUST BELT Coffee Shop. After each participant has given their pitch, the judges will determine who will be the winner and receive startup capital.
