World Renowned Evangelist Joins the Staff of Toledo Catholic Church

St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Parish in Toledo, Ohio is announcing that renowned evangelist Richard Lane, Jr. is joining the church staff as Director of Evangelization.
 
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, to retired educator, Mary Lane-Alexander and NFL Hall of Fame Cornerback, Dick “Night Train” Lane. Richard has been featured numerous times on all Major Catholic Radio Networks, including EWTN’s “The Journey Home” as well as having produced and hosted his own EWTN Mini-Series entitled, “New Wine in New Wineskins”.
Since 2005,he has traveled the World speaking at Men’s Conferences, leading Parish Missions, Revivals, and ministering to tens of thousands of people, giving them HELP, HOPE and INSPIRATION!
 
St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Pastor, Fr. Mark Davis, announced Richard’s hiring during last weekend’s Mass celebrations saying, “We are greatly blessed by God to welcome Richard Lane, Jr. to St. Pat’s as our new Director of Evangelization. For over 15 years, Richard has taught parishes how to be more welcoming, relevant and alive in the Holy Spirit. He will lead our efforts at St. Pat’s to become “A Place to Belong” for people looking for meaning and a relationship with God in a faith community. He will oversee our parish ministries and serve as volunteer coordinator to involve as many people as possible. He will also lead our young adult and community outreach online, in church and in person.”
 
St Patrick of Heatherdowns is a Catholic Church within the Diocese of Toledo. It recently refocused its mission to become a place to belong for people in our community. It was voted as the Best House of Worship 2020 by Toledo City Paper readers.
