Checkmate is your Friendly Local Games Store in West Toledo area. No video games, just great board - card- and party-games and a place to gather and learn these fun games with new friends. 

Magic the Gathering has been popular for 25 years, Checkmate has been supporting the game and its fans since the day we opened 10 years ago.  Every Friday at 6pm we host Magic the Gathering events!

This will be our 2nd week in a 6-week Magic the Gathering: Commander League with prizes for the top 3 competitors and fun for all! Entry is $10 for the entire 6 weeks, or free with certain purchases. Stop in and sign up while seats last!
