Our Town, by Thornton Wilder, is a drama about two ordinary families living in adjacent houses in sleepy Grover’s Corners, N.H. in the early years of the 20th century. Our Town has been described by many as the Great American Play. The play details the everyday lives of those two families, the Gibbs’ and the Webb’s. But underlying the events of their lives – marriages, births, and deaths – is a hope for something more, a transcendental experience unique to the human condition. Our Town is directed by Sonia Perez and will be performed on March 24th, 26th, April 1st, 3rd, 7th, and 9th.
Mary Swanson just moved to Middletown. About to have her first child, she is eager to enjoy the neighborly bonds a small town promises. But life in Middletown is complicated: neighbors are near strangers and moments of connection are fleeting. Middletown is a playful, poignant portrait of a town with two lives, one ordinary and visible, the other epic and mysterious. Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright Will Eno meditates on life in Middletown with his signature blend of absurdity and beauty. Middletown is directed by Dave Nelms and will be performed on the alternating days of March 25th, 27th 31st , and April 2nd, 8th, and 10th .
The cast of Our Town includes Brad Smith, Marilyn O’Malley German, Kassidy O’Keefe, Chase McNamara, Abbey Casino, Joseph Blair, Emily Brown, Tai Terry, Emily Hoffman, Kathleen McBee, Tonisha Jones, Zachary Farrugia, Norb Nowak, Tony Comes, and Matthew Culbreath.
The Middletown cast features Julia Koenig, Josh Keidan, Michael Schmitz, Evan Roll, Suzanne Jennens, Aubrey Hess, Tanner DuVall, Ryan Harris, Tim Glaza, Sofia Bianchi, and Gabrielle Southwell.
