TPS Local History Lecture Series

Our TPS Lecture series continues on Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 PM at Bowsher High School featuring Toledo’s Cemeteries - Forest, Woodlawn, and Calvary. Did you know that more Toledo mayors are buried at Forest than any other cemetery?  Did you know that Woodlawn is also an arboretum filled with over 130 species of different trees?  Did you know that Calvary is the largest repository of Polish ancestry and has two Medal of Honor recipients?  Join us as we explore these hallowed grounds and learn about some of the individuals buried within.

All  lectures are free and open to the public with plenty of parking at Bowsher. TPS will be streaming the event and a link will be posted soon on tps. org
