Wednesday at Woodlands Lunchtime Concert Series Featuring Jeff Kerscher
The Wednesday at Woodlands lunchtime concert series begins Wednesday, June 1 at 12:00 noon. The concerts continue every Wednesday, 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Woodlands Park shelter area, 429 E. Boundary in Perrysburg. Picnic tables are available for eating lunch while listening to the music.
The series will open with the multi- talented pianist, singer, song writer and Emmy Award winner, Jeff Kerscher. He has built an impressive musical resume that spans 44 years. He is a pianist, and current member of the popular Perrysburg based band, Suburban Legend as well as the Music Director for the Emmy Award winning PBS TV show “Abracadabra”. Toledo music history buffs might remember him as a member of two historic bands “High Society” and “The Affair”.
Mr, Kerscher said his concert will include music from his Billy Joel tribute show as well as what he describes as “the greatest 70’s and 80’s rock piano and vocal songs from artists like Journey, Boston, Foreigner, Elton John and Queen, Three Dog Night and more. He will perform a few songs from his catalog of 90 published original songs which have appeared on records, radio and television from long and impressive music career.
