Knight Insurance Group has become an Employee-Owned Organization
Knight Insurance Group, a longtime resident of the Toledo, Ohio community, announces its new organizational structure that reinforces the company’s commitment to its clients, employees and the area.
Effective August 1, the company has become an Employee-Owned Organization. Operations will remain the same, and the existing leadership team will continue to guide the company.
“Our goal is to safeguard the future of KIG stakeholders--our clients, employees, carriers and the greater Toledo community. In becoming an employee-owned organization, we achieve our vision to be the Agency of Choice for all our stakeholders. Clients can be confident that they are dealing with a locally owned organization. Employees are assured of job stability in the area. The community is assured of our continued investment in our hometown," stated Diane Keil-Hipp, Chief Operations Officer. “We believe this restructuring underscores our company's culture and core values of enduring relationships, exceptional standards, and relentless focus.”
Knight Insurance Group can trace its beginnings back to 1859 when it established operations in downtown Toledo. In 1983 the company moved its headquarters into the Warehouse District and recently expanded into a larger adjacent building to accommodate current and future growth.
“We recently invested over $7 million in improvements to our headquarters, further solidifying our commitment to greater Toledo,” said Ken Knight, Chairman of the Board. “This new organizational structure ensures our legacy for generations to come.”
Knight Insurance Group provides customized insurance and bond solutions to businesses and individuals and serves clients in the greater Midwest and across the country.
