Wayman Palmer YMCA to Showcase Updates at Open House
Toledo, Ohio – August 23, 2022 – The Wayman Palmer YMCA in partnership with LISC Toledo will host an open house on Wednesday, August 24 from 4 to 7 pm. The event will showcase updates to the facility’s wellness centers, including new state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment provided by Peloton®. The community is welcome to attend and participate in featured tours, blood pressure screenings, giveaways, games and activities for children, and food from local food trucks.
Eric Williams, Executive Director of the Wayman Palmer YMCA says he’s excited to reintroduce the community to the YMCA branch. “The Wayman Palmer YMCA has been around for quite some time. People are familiar with us, but we want them to know about what’s new and improved. We have new staff we would like people to meet, new equipment we want people to utilize, and programs for everyone to participate in. We’re excited to show off what we currently have to offer, and get people excited about what we’ll be offering in the future. The community deserves this, and we want everyone to be a part of it".
During the open house, community members can take tours of the updated facility, learn more about the YMCA’s program offerings, and speak with staff about how to sign up to become YMCA members.
