Toledo’s Brim House Now Open After Yearlong COVID-related Closure

TOLEDO, Ohio – After an 11-month COVID-driven hiatus, elevated dining the revered Brim House restaurant has returned to downtown Toledo. Executive Chef Michael Rigot’s impressive menu is laced with influences of his southern upbringing and Czech and Polish roots, with a focus on fresh, seasonal and artisan ingredients. Tucked inside the Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel at 444 North Summit St. in downtown Toledo, Brim House is now open for dinner Wednesday-Saturday from 4-10 p.m. Breakfast is offered Monday-Friday from 6:30-11 a.m., featuring classics like Eggs Benedict, as well as creative twists and vegan options. Rigot’s winter dinner menu (below) offers everything from vegan wild mushroom and root vegetable risotto to seafood and chop house specialties like Herb-Roasted Rack of Lamb or a melt-in-your-mouth 28-Day Fillet Mignon. The Brim House interior is as comfortable as it is elegant, with dramatic layered designer lighting illuminating earthy wooden tables, comfy leather booths and gleaming metal accents. The result is space that is at once warm, welcoming, and gorgeous – the perfect complement to the new Brim House menu and the ideal spot for celebration or a mid-week unwind.
