The YWCA Child Care Resource and Referral Department is offering a children’s developmental program for parents with children from 0-5 years old.

The Baby Talk Program is instructed by a YWCA Outreach Parent Specialist from the Child Care Resource and Referral Department. This program is a once-a-month home visit that serves families with children 0-5 years old. It is designed to help families in our community by increasing knowledge and resources to support their child's development throughout the program year. Each home visit will consist of interactive activities, education bags and optional screening assessments for children. Together, the Outreach Parent Specialist and parent/caregiver will set goals to assist with the home learning environment for their child's development. “Baby Talk” also offers monthly socialization days where families are able to network with one another and have a safe environment for parents and caregivers to interact with their children through engaging hands-on activities.

The upcoming socialization day is on January 21, 2023 from 12-5pm at the Hampton Inn Suites 3434 Secor Rd Toledo, OH 43606. This month’s theme is “Mom’s Cozy Winter Spa Day.” Mom's come to PLAY while kids are home to STAY! This FREE event is to really focus on mom and her needs, to shower her with gifts and praises, give her the motivation to keep pushing for her and her family. You must be signed up for the Baby Talk Program to be able to enjoy the socialization days.

The YWCA Child Care Resource and Referral Department will offer this program for FREE. There is limited space so participants are encouraged to register soon to secure a spot: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfqV4gclzxUCV3d1hu3nft1gnqT4vQkX8_EHSZAzI9FI-iQgA/viewform?usp=sf_link .
