2nd “Sock It To The Homeless” Distribution Planned

TOLEDO- On November 1st Toledo Hemp Center and several other local businesses banded together to start collecting socks for Toledo’s homeless community. Each individual business hosted a sock collection box where people were able to drop off unused socks for those in the area who are in need of a warm pair of socks. The collected socks are then distributed to the area homeless directly through a predetermined distribution point.
On Sunday December 18 Toledo Hemp Center and Love My Dog Pet Grooming teamed up with 419 Cares to set up a downtown Toledo sock distribution point at 1904 Madison Ave Toledo OH. Collected socks were distributed to the homeless community directly.
On January 22 Toledo Hemp Center and Love My Dog Pet Grooming will set up a 2nd “Sock It To The Homeless” sock distribution of the year to help get the socks onto the feet of the local homeless in hopes of helping keep the area’s less fortunate warmer during the upcoming cold winter months.
Toledo Hemp Center is in desperate need of more new unused socks for those less fortunate. To help the local hemp business and several other area locations have set up sock collection boxes. Collection locations: Toledo Indoor Garden (5520 Secor Rd), The Paddy Shack (4933 Secor Rd), Dandino’s Pizza & More (4804 Lewis Ave), Love My Dog Pet Grooming (7309 Secor Rd Lambertville MI) and Toledo Hemp Center (4925 Jackman Rd).
