Women United Arts Movement is proud to present an exhibition of new work by emerging artist Katrina Niswander. The fully virtual exhibit is the first solo show by the artist to be presented to an international audience. The collection of works, and interactive virtual gallery will be accessible between the dates of February 14-27th from anywhere in the WE. United virtual art gallery. Katrina Niswander, a 2012 graduate of Bowling Green State University, is an internationally exhibiting and collected fine artist, interior designer, and life coach working out of her home studio in Toledo Ohio. She has a fascination with the feeling of home, what we choose to surround ourselves with and what we leave behind. In her fine art practice, she uses her vast collection of found photographs as inspiration. Fuzzy black and white snippets of time transform through her intuitive practice of adding graphic color as she attempts to wrap head around the complexities of time, memory, nostalgia, and loss in a playful way. Her mixed media paintings are a collaboration between past and present that manufactures new memories for us to share.
Women United Art Movement is an organization created by Simona Lerchová, based in Brno, Czech Republic, as a virtual global platform for women creatives who want to be seen, heard, and build a sustainable and thriving business.
