YWCA Growing In Our Community Event
The YWCA of Northwest Ohio is excited to invite families to a FREE inclusive event this Spring! Join us for "Growing in Our Community" on May 6th from 11:00am-4:00pm at the Wayman Palmer YMCA in Toledo, OH.
The event will feature a variety of vendors providing resource information for families, as well as engaging activities for children to enjoy. Participating vendors include the Imagination Station, Help Me Grow, Lucas County Children's Services, AngelSense, YWCA Healthy Connections, AB Education Behavioral Consulting, Toledo JFS, and Early Head Start. The Ability Center will also sponsor a sensory-friendly room with calming activities and books provided by YWCA Child Care Resource and Referral.
In addition to vendor activities, we'll have fun games for all ages, such as limbo, Twister, blow-up bowling, and cornhole. Throughout the day, we'll also raffle off exciting prizes. And don't forget to grab a bite from our food trucks, which will include Duce's Dawgs and The Carousel!

The YWCA of Northwest Ohio, working to meet the diverse needs of women and the elimination of racism, serves more than 15,000 individuals each year through various programs. The programs include: Domestic Violence Shelter, Rape Crisis Center, Child Care Resource and Referral, Youth Development, Long Term Housing, and Healthy Connections.
