Mother's and Motherless Daughter's Day Celebration
“A Gift For Mother’s, A Gift for Daughters”
Bernadette Joy Graham, LPCC, LLC and Thasia Awad, LSW Founder of MelaNation Healing Project are hosting their first annual Mother’s Day and Motherless Daughter’s Day event. Both holidays are celebrated and commemorated across the nation in honor of motherhood. As we know, mothers play a crucial role in a child’s life from conception to birth to raising throughout the years. Countless studies reveal that the emotional attachment formed in the early years can have a lasting impact on a child’s well-being. Bernadette and Thasia who are both mothers themselves and both motherless daughters, want to create a space to celebrate and provide support for women who are moms and whom may have lost their moms. This is also a time where women can gain support and inspiration from one another while filling their often-empty love tank of their own. Event is FREE and open to the community but space is limited. Email or go to Eventbrite to reserve seating. Cupcakes and even gluten free for those sensitive will be a special snack as well as pinkwheels and water an soft drinks.
